What types of boats do you offer for rental?

We offer a variety of boats for rental, including fishing boats, jet boats, and luxury yachts.

What happens after I Book?


After you book, you will receive a confirmation email along with the date and location of your boat. Close to your booking you will receive reminders of your booking as well as a rental agreement/contact that must be signed before the time of your pickup.

Do I need a deposit?


Unfortunately we require a damage deposit for all of our equipment. Damage deposits are taken on the day of pickup by one of our employees and returned after inspection of the equipment (usually 24 to 48 hours).

What happens on the day of my pickup ?


On the day of your rental, one of our employees will meet your at the area designated on your confirmation email (or the area you have requested in the notes section). They will show you the equipment, go though the mandatory rental agreement, take the damage deposit and explain instructions and safety procautions for the equipment you are renting.

Is gas included for boat rentals?

Gas is not included and can be paid from the damage deposit or separately after returning the boat. We charge the ‘per litre’ price from the nearest gas station to Niagara-On-The-Lake.

Are you permitted by Transport Canada?

Nine Twenty Eight Adventures Inc. a subsidiary of Nine Twenty Eight Inc. is permitted to operate by Transport Canada as well as the Niagara Region. Nine Twenty Eight Adventures follows all rules designated by Transport Canada and the Niagara Region.

Can I rent a boat if I don't have any boating experience?

Yes! We provide rentals for both experienced boaters and beginners. We offer briefings and instructions to ensure your safety and enjoyment on the water.

What type of boating instructions do we receive?

All of our customers receive a transport Canada mandatory briefing about boating laws and safety while boating. Additionally we take our customers out on our boats to provide them with a 15 to 30 minute on water briefing.

How do you check for damages?

Prior to every rental, we record and take photographs of our equipment.. Once the equipment is returned we repeat the process. For boats specifically we remove the boat from the water prior and post rental to record the condition of the boat.

What fishing equipment is included with the boat rental?

If you have chosen the fishing package, it comes equipped with state-of-the-art fishing gear, including rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice and a directly integrated live well. We strive to provide everything you need for a successful fishing expedition. If there is something else you require please do not hesitate to contact us.

Are life jackets provided with the boat rental?


Yes, we provide life jackets for all passengers on our rental boats. Safety is our top priority, and we ensure that everyone has the appropriate Transport Canada mandated safety gear.

Can I bring my own fishing gear?

Absolutely! If you prefer to bring your own fishing equipment, you are more than welcome to do so. Our boats are equipped to accommodate your personal gear as well. However fishing is not permitted on our Jet Boats

Is there a late return fee?

Yes, a $100 late fee per hour will apply unless previously discussed.

Are cancellations permitted?

Unfortunately in order to keep the our boats available for our customers, cancellations are not permitted unless due to inclement/unsafe weather. In the event of inclement weather, we will work with you to reschedule your rental for a different day or provide a full refund.

Are pets allowed on the rental boats?


We are pet lovers, however, due to liability issues pets are not allowed on our rental boats, with the exception of service animals as required by law.
